No finger painting here! This professional family shares the benefit of their international awards in easy to follow, step-by-step, age appropriate drawing lessons. Blending traditional techniques with the most popular characters from their commercial portfolios -- Joe & Jessie (father/daughter) build confidence and add to the young artist's skill set each week with completed and ready-to-frame compositions the children proudly take home. Classes are designed to run for 4 consecutive weeks.

Day 1 - "There Once Was A Boy who Learned To Fly..."

"His Name Was JIMMY JET!"

Our first class began with a lesson based on my original character & childrens adventure series JIMMY JET.

We are learning new concepts in drawing such as; concentric vs. spiral, parallel vs. perspective and the morphing of simple shapes into basic anatomy and simple logo designs...

Day 2 - That Fat Cat of Comics - GARFIELD

IT'S A FAMILY THING...


Day 3 - "He lives in a pineapple under the sea... SPONGE BOB SQUARE PANTS!"


Day 4 - "Popeye The Sailor Man"

For several weeks we been creating increasingly complex characters cluminating in these studies in 3/4 forced persepctive.

As part of our show-and-tell the students have been bringing in their original character designs to share with each other! Several buddng author/artists here...
